Sidewalks deserve to be pretty too!

Came across this sand artist in Central Park. He was amazing! We saw him a few days later at Union Square with a different design. ….I wonder how he does it; if he plans out the design first….or if its spontaneous?

Check out the video to see how he does it. Incredible!

2nd Wind

We had so much fun with our first shoot, we just had to do it again!  This time we played around with 2nd Winds eco-friendly clutches.  They’re these cute little bags made in Indiana of upcycled leather with attachable flowers.  For the black one we attached vintage brooches to it…Check out these fun little bags at:

KIP:Keep It Pretty

I like pretty things and I like it when people make the world….um….prettier. I like the way this lady thinks.

Artist Katherine Daniels.
“This 600-foot installation along a South Street construction fence features ribbon-like stitches of green and white materials woven in geometric patterns into wire mesh to evoke stems and vines. Colorfully painted spools and jar lids, all of which have been reclaimed or recycled, convey the “flowers” of this angular garden.”

Otherwise….it would just be a boring fence-but now….its Pretty!

Beautiful from the inside out

This was the product of a cancelled family shoot.  My mind and gear was ready,  I just needed to find a subject!  Here’s to an amazing (and beautiful) friend!

Spring in bloom

Spring is my favorite time of the year here in the valley.  Blossoming orchards, green grass and great weather….ahhhhhh….

Wait!  Except for today when the boys decided to paint the house with mud!  Did I mention the rain?

Citrus season is done…you’ll see fruit on the trees but I wouldn’t recommend eating it!

The picture below is of the blossoms on our fruit cocktail tree.  How cool is that?  This one was supposed to have 4 different varieties on one tree.  So far we’ve just had plums and apricots off of it.
