New York Fashion Week, February 15, 2011

Three days went by soooo fast and I’m looking forward to September already! I’m hoping to convince my sister to shoot fashion week with me again in the fall…a person can mount a monopod on a stroller, right!?…right!?

This season, I only took 1000 photos…which is so few considering an average fashion week photographer takes 60 000 photos!!

Here are a few celeb shots from Tuesday….

Sergio Davila Fashion Show

On Tuesday, I unexpectedly got tickets into the Sergio Davila show. Please bear with the photos…I had no time to set or change any camera settings, but wanted to share the experience regardless.

Designer Sergio Dávila says his inspiration comes from the three Americas: North, Central and South.

His Fall 2011 collection (which included items from a newly-introduced women’s line) marks the third time he has shown at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Backstage at Norman Ambrose

I got the privilege to shoot backstage at Norman Ambrose…and I loved every minute of it! Organized chaos. Hair stylists backcombing hair, makeup artists with every makeup tool available, television crews, photographers, models running around…it was madness…and I wish I could have stayed all day.

Norman Ambrose: Designing for the “woman who’s not afraid to dress” and the “independent strong woman empowered by her clothing.”

Hair by Bumble & Bumble and makeup by M.A.C..

The designer, Norman Ambrose
