the S family

Time was running out!  There were only a few weekends before Christmas and the weather had been really crummy.  What could have turned out to be a wet soggy disaster turned into some beautiful images.   Not that you could make this sweet family look bad!  And the twins did so well, I can still hear them….CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE!

Q + C {couples}

You know those friends that you’re comfortable with even in those awkward silent moments?  Well, that’s the kind of friendship my family has with this couple.  Actually, when I think about it there are no silent moments when her and I are around!?!  hmmmm…

Since we met them 3 years ago there’s been no rock unturned.  For the most part the guys talk about their jobs(they’re both nurses…MALE nurses no less!  So adorable how some feel the need to clarify).  Us ladies…well…there’s nothing that we haven’t discussed.  Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson’s split, chocolate covered almonds with peanut butter or without, the lasting power of UGGs, you know the important stuff.  I’m so glad you two came into our life.  Who else would I call when I’m stuck in my garage or need someone to stand in while I’m location hunting?  Thanks again!

The L family

This family was some of the first friends we made when we moved down here almost 7 years ago.  Back then they were a family of 4.  Two years ago along came Isaac and their life hasn’t been the same since–just ask the girls! My boys on the other hand were overjoyed by the addition!

L + M {Engagement}

It was such a joy to do an engagement session with this couple.  They were so relaxed with one another and it was cute to watch him tease her mercilessly.  Time flew and before we knew it the sun was setting and we weren’t finished having fun!  Congrats to a beautifully in love couple.  I have no doubt that their fun-filled days have just begun!

The Strassburgs {family}

With a new baby in the family, Grandma Eve called saying she would need a new family picture.  Seven children under the age of four!  Now that’s a lot of energy to keep up with!  It was adorable how these kids scrambled to be as close to their grandparents as possible for the family photo.  It was so obvious the love the children had for them. They are so lucky to live so close to one another!  Here are some shots for the grandparents of these adorable little munchkins who tried their best to be still last Saturday.
