When I photographed the extended ‘S’ Family last year, there were 7 grandkids. This year, 8!
For the little ones, today was just another day of scrambling to get a spot on Grandma or Grandpa’s lap. (And to think I was worried about where to put everyone!) But for the parents, today was frantic shouts of “Watch out for the mud!”, Stay away from that duck!”, “Pull down your dress!” and “Get those fingers out of your nose!” So many adorable little personalities, and I just love them all!
You’re looking at a local celebrity right here people! 2010 Yuba-Sutter County Baby Idol winner has turned 1! Not only is Gabriel really, really, really ridiculously good looking but he has the sweetest disposition. We’re glad to see he’s stayed grounded through all his fame in the past year.
This session took almost a year to happen! Talk about a lot of bad timing. And even still little Gavin was not feeling top shelf. He hides it well though right?! I love the connection this little family has. So relaxed and sweet on each other. Another beautiful family to photograph. How do I get so lucky?!
I was so thrilled to hang out with Elizabeth again and meet her precious little baby sister Annabelle. What a peaceful little angel!

You’d have to be a robot not to get grin happy when you hang out with Cole. The cheeks, the mile long eyelashes, those eyes…I don’t think I’ve ever used the word ‘cute’ so many times in one day!
