What a ride! Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week here in NYC has come to a close. We’re both a little happy (yeah! sleep!) and a little sad (c’mon, its fashion week!). Here’s a glimpse of what the new location, Lincoln Center looked like. Please stay tuned…we have SOOOO much more to show you!

America’s Next Top Model casting call is coming to……Yuba City?!!! Is this a joke? Are we being Punk’d? This morning tons of long-legged beauties showed up from all over at Forever 21 to strut their stuff in hopes of a spot on cycle 16. We were both really excited to do a series with sweet, beautiful Lizz while back home. We wanted to pretty her all up for one session and rock her out for another. It was really fun to do two completely opposite looks on Lizz and watch her go into character with each one. After enduring all the primping, wearing a dress (gasp!), and riding a 90 pound fossil of a bike, we were surprised that she was still up for the second shoot! Thank you Lizz for trusting us. You are a beautiful soul.

My friends and family get a laugh out of how thrifty I can be. The story that everyone loves to tell on me is the time I found a pink, puffy, GAP vest at a thrift store for $5. Well…the next day was a 30% off day (I know right? a discount day at a thrift store…how cool is that??) so I hid it and came back the next day and saved myself a whopping…$1.50! Oh yeah! You know what I can buy for $1.50? Yeah? I can’t think of anything right now either…
This month was a great month for finds! ZAC freaking POSEN is now taking up space in my closet! I don’t even care that I found him at Target. Reminds me of NY fashion week 2009 when Jenn and I waited, freezing our tooshies off for a glimpse of the cutie designer. We did not leave disappointed!

My second find was a vintage skinny tie for my handsome hubby. Not that he knows who Yves Saint Laurent is…although he can pronounce his name better than I can. Soooo exciting…my heart is still racing…a designer tie AND my husband speaking french;)

Coach recently collaborated with 4 bloggers to design 4 Limited Edition Coach bags. These bags can only be found online. I’m usually all about a classic look but I’m diggin’ the fringe trend… Which one of these Coach Collectibles can you see yourself carrying around? Krystal’s fringe shoulder bag, Emily’s satchel, Karla’s clutch or Kelly’s drawstring pouch?
My latest bag dilemma is looking for a trendy camera bag. Right now I have the worlds most archaic bag and it doesn’t safely fit my gear. My favorites are the Kelly Moore bags and Epiphanie bags. I’m awfully tempted to line my Coach tote with padding and velcro….any suggestions?
OR my birthday is coming up and y’all could start a collection?! Just a little something for you to think about;)
