Let me start by saying that our day went nothing as planned. In looking back at these images I’m kind of glad it didn’t. At one point we found ourselves moved to tears as the girls sweetly sang ‘Jesus loves me’ to their new baby brother. And that my friends, you just can’t plan.
Ever since the age of 10, when I picked up my first Lurlene McDaniel novel, I’ve been intrigued with cancer. So when choosing my life long career something in the cancer field was a must. Cytology was a perfect fit, in other words, cancer diagnostics. I’m beyond passionate about my career path and I could spend days talking about it. But rather than blabbing on and on, why don’t I just show you what I see through the eyes of my microscope?! 
The beginning of the year is bliss. The crammed holiday portrait season is over and I get to shoot a planned stylized shoot just for me. Alyssa Strassburg and I collaborated once again for our 3rd annual styled shoot and we had GORGeous Kelly to help us out. I swear this girl couldn’t take a bad picture if her life depended on it!
Another fly by the seat of our pants moment for our little family…a day in Chinatown. Even with all the other adventures we had packed in for our weekend in San Francisco the boys said that Chinatown was their favorite. Buying wooden samurai swords, eating squid, drinking boba tea and visiting the fortune cookie factory were just a few things that made the day so unique. Without sounding too much like a tourist brochure, another visit is a must:)
Menswear is timeless. Golden Rules like; wide lapels mean a wide tie, brown shoes mean a brown belt, and the tie bar goes between the third and fourth button, those have been around for years.
